This one depends on the current colour of your Bank card. So, if you have Gold you need to have R20,000 saved with Discovery. This money could be sitting in a savings account or even the transaction account. It will count towards your promotion from Gold to Diamond.

Then if you have a Platinum card, you need R45,000 to get to Diamond from Gold. And again, this money can be sitting anywhere inside Discovery Bank – except of course your credit card. It must be savings.

For Black card holders, you need a whooping R100,000 saved with Discovery Bank. It can't be anywhere else - if it's with FNB it doesn't count. You need to have it with Discovery Bank and then it will count towards your promotion from Gold money status to Diamond money status.
