How to track your monthly cashbacks. Did Discovery get it right?

Hi family. I'm here to teach you how to quickly track if the Cashbacks you've been paid (in the form of Miles) is a true reflection of what you actually spent. In other words, did Discovery get it right?
So - How do you know that you've been paid correctly? Everything you need is done via the Discovery bank app. If you haven't joined Bank Discovery Bank yet it is a must!
If you've been paid your Miles, you can go to the Discovery Miles tab on that Bank app. And then you go to the specific section you want to check. For example, today we’re going to check Healthycare (which is cashback from DisChem or Clicks) • Open up the Healthycare tab. • All the months will be queuing from most recent to oldest – one month behind. For example Cashback paid out in August would have been for your July spending. • I have 6713 Miles. • We know that DisChem give us 25% back, so we need to multiply by 4 the amount that was paid back. • When we multiply this figure by 4, our total is 26852 • So, Miles back for that is 2685.
Now I go to my Credit Card section of the app and hit the 3 dots at the top right corner and then ‘Smart Search’. Search for DisChem.
In July, I spent the following at DisChem: R824 (on 12 July) and R1861 (on 24 July) total of this is R2685.
These balance out. Correct!! Welldone Discovery on getting it right.
You can check further at The dynamic Bank cash back. That will be based entirely on what your cash back was for the month. So here mine says I received. 3,700 Miles. (Remember these Miles are paid back only for the first R2000 spent -no longer R4000)
Coming soon… what to do if Discovery gets it wrong.
