Better Sleep
Sleep should be at the forefront of your wellness journey. If you are having interrupted sleep cycles or are suffering from insomnia, here are few suggestions to improve your sleep quality:
- Switch off: To sleep well, you need as few distractions as possible. It is said that being exposed to light during sleep blocks the production of melatonin, and may be linked to depression, anxiety, and obesity. Invest in black-out curtains and put stickers over any light that flashes or illuminates your room.
- Perfect temperature: The best temperature to sleep in is 18.3ᵒC.
- Exercise: Moderate to vigorous intensity workouts have been proven to improve your quality of sleep.
Better Nutrition
Did you know that the health of your gut can be linked to your mood and that three quarters of our immune system is found here too? Other than eating a balanced diet, you can improve your gut health by turning to probiotics. There are billions of beneficial gut microbes living inside of us. Each crucial in maintaining a healthy system. By consuming probiotics, you are helping to restore this population, which in turn may mean a happier you.
Better Bodies
There’s no better way to fine tune your wellness than with regular check-ups

40-50: Check your blood pressure, cholesterol, and any risks for skin cancer, diabetes, heart and kidney disease. Be sure to continue getting a cervical smear test every five years.
50-65: Mammograms, colorectal cancer screenings, oral health and eye checks, screening for osteoporosis.
Over 65: Immunisations for shingles and influenza; vision, hearing, and dental health. Be sure to check with your GP about your risk of falling.
