How to Maximise your benefits.
There are several reasons why you may be struggling to get your cashback. The first thing to check for is that you have linked all your store cards! As soon as you activate your Vitality, you need to make sure that your Woolies, Pick n Pay, DisChem and Clicks store cards are linked to your Vitality profile. Every time you go shopping, you need to use your store card. When shopping online: As long as your profile is linked to the store card, you don't have to enter anything each time, you just link it once. Then you can buy to your heart’s content and Vitality will be able to receive all your transactions via the linked store card. What happens when you don't use your store card but you do use your credit card? This is a NO, No! If you skip that store card step, your cash back will be null and void. Make sure that your store card is swiped and use your credit card to pay. Let me be clear on that one: Your Discovery credit card must be used to pay for your goods. I know so many of you are still using other cards; and this is to your disadvantage. If you want to maximise your money rewards swiping your Discovery credit card is the only way. Many of my subscribers ask me why they are not getting their fuel Miles cashback. If you want to get your maximum fuel cash back, you must swipe both your Discovery Insure card and your Discovery Credit Card to pay. Your Discovery Insure card is only for the insurance part of the business – but it does give you rewards. However, you still need to use your Discovery Credit card in order to get additional cash back. If you're not insured with Discovery, swiping your credit card when filling up will still give you your miles cash back. This is only applicable at Shell and BP garages.
