Spring is in the air; warm weather is rising and there’s a general feeling of wellness as summer approaches. Wellness is a sense of wellbeing and brings happiness and a feel-good factor to all. In a day and age where we are subjected to daily stress, busy schedules, telecommunication, and online invasions, families, commitments, and dysfunctional ideas, it’s no wonder that wellness has become a buzz word of some type of epitomal achievement. And as important as this is, do we really understand true wellness in our individual lives?
We all understand the value of being healthy and fit, and longevity is only beneficial when you can enjoy the use of your body, mind, and senses. So, obviously a healthy diet, and a healthy active lifestyle goes a long way to achieving this. Learn new things, be culturally open and aware; be spiritual - not for any need of remark, but purely for the abundant joy that lives inside you.
Create balance and harmony this spring - I mean literally "spring- clean" your life. De-clutter, make time for yourself. It can be done purely by observing the beauty around you, the quiet of your mind, and the warm breeze on your skin.
